Our Story

Widow’s Oven was born in a kitchen filled with memory, love, and the kind of strength
that grows only after loss. Baking has always been a part of my heart – especially when
I baked for my husband, Bob. I loved making him fresh bread, warm cookies, delicious
treats, and meals that brought our busy family around the table. When he passed away
unexpectedly, our kitchen became the place where I started to breathe again.
For me and my daughters, baking has been a form of healing. The smell of the dough
rising, butter melting, and cookies coming out of the oven has reminded us that life can
still offer enjoyment and warmth, even when everything has changed. What began as a
simple comfort has slowly become a calling.
Today, Widow’s Oven is a small batch bakery where every loaf, cookie, desert, and jar
of jam is made by hand….intentionally, slowly, and with love. I believe that food can
connect us, nourish us, and help us remember the best memories with the people we
love.
From our hearts and home to yours…thank you for being here and helping to share our
joy journey.
Mission Statement
The mission at Widow’s Oven is to create food that comforts, connects, and reminds us
all of sweet memories of family and friends. Inspired by the love I shared with my
husband and carried forward with my daughters, every bake is made by hand with
intention, warmth, and honest ingredients. I believe food brings people together, that
home is something you can taste, and that even in loss…something beautiful can rise.
